Fun fact: vegan pizza isn’t as unconventional as you might think. One of the original pizzas created in Naples, Italy, is the Marinara Pizza – made with just tomato sauce, olive oil, herbs, and garlic. I love the OG vegan pizza just as much as I adore modern meatier adaptations. Thankfully, there are plenty of options for vegan pizza in London.
Of course, you can get vegan pizza at popular chains like Pizza Express, Franco Manca, Pizza Pilgrims, or Pizza Union. But why settle for a bog-standard chain restaurant pizza when you could indulge at one of these incredible vegan pizza joints? They are all 100% vegan, except for one vegetarian restaurant. I’ve even included a fully vegan pizza delivery company – so there’s vegan pizza for all occasions!
Do you know of any other vegan or veggie pizza joints in London that I missed? Let me know in the comments below! I love any excuse to eat pizza.
Purezza
- Location: Camden
- Diet: Vegan
If you can only go to one vegan pizza place in London then you must visit Purezza. It is a fully vegan pizzeria located in Camden. They make their bases out of sourdough and they are wonderfully chewy. You can also select a gluten-free sourdough base or a celiac-friendly option is also available.
They have a variety of toppings, including the classics and some of their own inventions, like BBQ Bourbon Pizza. I recommend ordering one of their dips, particularly their garlic sauce, for dipping your crust into. It is pure heaven!
You can visit them in Camden, where they have a sizeable restaurant and some outdoor seating. But you can also order for takeaway – it’s my go-to hangover takeaway! Good news – if you find yourself in Manchester or Brighton, they also have a Purezza there!
Flat Earth Pizzas
- Location: Bethnal Green
- Diet: Vegetarian
Flat Earth Pizzas is a seasonal zero-waste pizza restaurant located in East London. Their pizza toppings change with the seasons and the focus is always on vegetables! The dough itself is made using heritage flours and I found it to have quite a rustic and earthy taste.
The majority of the pizzas on their menu are vegetarian but you can swap any of the cheese for plant-based mozzarella, which I can confirm is delicious and not cloying like most vegan cheese. Their exclusively plant-based pizzas are always exciting and different, like their Korean-Inspired Chilli-Glazed Oyster Mushroom Pizza.
My only issue was with their garlic dip which wasn’t creamy or garlicky enough.

Fed by Plants
- Location: South Bank
- Diet: Vegan
Fed by Plants is a vegan cafe located in Gabriel’s Wharf. They sell a variety of vegan comfort foods, including tofish and chips, nachos, burgers, and of course, pizza! Despite being quite a small homely venue, they make all their pizza dough from scratch!
They have a few different pizzas to choose from including a meat feast pizza and a cashew ricotta pizza. Priced around £14 a pizza, they are a steal!
I recommend visiting on a sunny day to make the most out of their outdoor seating!
Pastan
- Location: Barbican
- Diet: Vegan
Pastan is one of my favourite vegan food spots in London because they sell the most incredible fresh pasta dishes. So I was really excited when I found out they are now also selling pizza!
You can order their garlic bread pizza to enjoy on the side of your pasta (my go-to), but you can also choose from 4 different pizzas: Verdura, Meat Feast, Parisian, and Burrata.
Pastan is located in central London, so is perfect for any lunchtime or post-work pizza cravings. Pastan also has restaurants in Bristol, Brighton, Barcelona, and Fuengirola.
V-IZZA
- Location: Delivery only – Fitzrovia, Camden, and Wood Green
- Diet: Vegan
If you are hungover, busy, feeling lazy, or you are having an introverted day, then you may prefer ordering vegan pizza for takeaway! Thankfully, V-IZZA covers a few different areas in London, selling takeaway vegan pizzas on Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
Don’t expect any classic pizzas here, their toppings are creative and delicious, including a Foraged Fig Pizza and a Wild Wood Pizza with mushrooms. They also do weekly offers which can get you a 12″ pizza for only £8.99.
Whilst this is a fully vegan brand, I believe V-IZZA is an offshoot brand from a non-vegan pizza restaurant. I did some digging after seeing numerous influencers filming their pizzas inside a restaurant, despite V-IZZA being delivery-only. The restaurant they filmed inside is a pizza restaurant that serves animal products but also offers the same vegan pizzas as V-IZZA. If you would rather support a fully vegan business I recommend ordering from Purezza as they also offer delivery!
