Discover the clean vegan skincare brand that has been getting me loads of compliments on my glowing skin! As a loyal customer of 3 years, I decided it was time to put together this Kri Skincare review.

5 out of 5

I often receive compliments on my skin, and I attribute this partly to good genes and the fact that I never wear makeup, but most of all, I believe it comes down to my choice of skincare!

For the past three years, I have been using Kri Skincare products. These have accompanied me all around the world, in hot, cold, dry, and humid environments, and have consistently kept my skin looking clean, fresh, and bright.

Given how frequently I receive compliments on my skin, I decided it was time to share my simple and affordable skincare routine with the world in this Kri Skincare review. There is no hack or expensive secret here – just effective skincare products made with clean ingredients and zero cruelty to animals.

I rarely give anything a 5 out of 5 rating, but honestly, this skincare company has been a game-changer for me. That’s why I’ve been using their products for over three years and always make sure to stock up before my travels, so I never run out while on the go.

  • My skin feels the best it ever has
  • It is affordable – a little goes a long way
  • They are made using clean ingredients
  • They use eco-friendly packaging

My experience

Having used a variety of Kri Skincare products over the last three years, including their Oil-to-Milk Cleansing Oil, Endless Moisturiser with Squalane, Illume Niacinamide Serum, Organic Prickly Pear Seed Oil, and their SPF30 vegan sun cream (which they are currently reformulating), I can share a well-rounded overview of my experience using Kri’s products.

My skin feels better than ever

Not only does my skin always feel soft and hydrated, but it has been glowing since using Kri Skincare products. I tend to use their Illume Niacinamide Serum with 5% niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and 1% hyaluronic acid on a freshly cleaned face first thing in the morning. I then add a light layer of Organic Prickly Pear Seed Oil on top. I repeat this before going to bed. That’s it! These two will keep my skin feeling hydrated throughout the day and super soft to the touch.

When I travel I only carry the prickly pear seed oil with me so I can save on space, and I love just how impactful it is on its own. It absorbs into my skin quickly without leaving behind any sticky oil. Plus it copes extremely well in all climates. Particularly hot and humid climates!

I’ve tried a fair few prickly pear seed oils over the years, including a bunch from Amazon and one from grüum, but they haven’t been anywhere near as effective as the one from Kri. I imagine this comes down to the methods in which they obtain it from the plant, via cold-pressing, and the fact that it is an organic product.

Aside from my face, Kri products have also benefitted areas which are prone to eczema. This includes my elbows, knees, ears, and eyelids. I use a small amount of Kri’s Endless Moisturiser with Squalane in these areas and it helps keep the redness and flakiness down. I’ve tried so many eczema creams, some of which have even burnt through my skin, but this clean and simple moisturiser by Kri has been the best thing for it. It hasn’t got rid of the problem but it helps me keep it in control.

They use clean and effective ingredients

Kri Skincare don’t add any unnecessary ingredients to their products. This means zero fillers and nasty ingredients. Most of their products contain well under 10 ingredients, which is hugely different to most skincare products you’ll find in shops. Moreover, all of the ingredients they use are biodegradable, meaning they won’t harm the environment if they are disposed of.

Of the few ingredients that they do use they go for those that are most effective, so you get a lot more for less! I’ve seen other hyaluronic acid products contain 20+ ingredients and cost triple the amount. The reality is that the most useful ingredients will only exist in small quantities within those products.

And of course, the Kri range is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. And always has been! They are an independently owned company that manufactures everything in the UK and doesn’t sell to any countries that require animal testing, like China.

A little goes a long way

When I top up my Kri products (serum, oil and moisturiser), it costs me just over £70*. This may seem quite expensive at first, but these products keep me going for at least 3 months. That’s because a little of each of these products goes a long way! Just a few drops are enough to coat your face. And this will last you all day.

I’m always impressed by how well-coated my skin feels with just a few drops of the serum or oil. Both absorb beautifully, leaving my face feeling nourished but never greasy. The moisturisers are equally impressive—they glide effortlessly over the skin, leaving a soft, protective layer that doesn’t disappear or evaporate as the day goes on.

What I love most is the efficiency of these products. They’re highly concentrated, so you never feel like you’re wasting product. This makes the initial cost more than worth it, as you get months of use from each bottle.

*Although, I do buy in bulk so I can benefit from their bundle deal which saves me 15% when I buy three or more full-sized Kri products!

The eco-friendly packaged Kri skincare moisturiser with reusable pump - Kri Skincare review

Eco-friendly packaging

One of the reasons I first stumbled across Kri Skincare was because I was searching for a more eco-friendly alternative to the moisturisers I was buying in single-use plastic. I was instantly drawn in when I saw that they sold their products in recyclable glass bottles. You can choose to buy it with a pump or with an aluminium cap. The pump is necessary for dispensing the product, but it can reused over and over again. Therefore, saving loads of plastic from going to landfill!

They also send their products in easy-to-recycle materials like cardboard. It is easily one of the most eco-friendly skincare brands I’ve found, that is also effective and vegan!

Limited options for body

One of my favourite products used to be their body oil. It was handy for my travels, particularly when I was away for months at a time since I would only need a small amount of it to moisturise my whole body. The bottle would last me months!

Unfortunately, as a small business, they do on rare occasions stop selling one of their supplementary skincare ranges, like their body oil. Despite this, their core range, including their serums, oils, and moisturisers, has always stuck around!

But this does mean that they don’t really have many options for your body. I use their moisturisers on body parts where I struggle with eczema and it works brilliantly, but I’m not sure it would last long if I used it everywhere on my body. Hopefully, they consider reintroducing their body oil again one day!

My verdict

The fact that I have been a loyal customer of Kri Skincare for 3 years says it all. I regularly receive compliments for my skin and I’m not surprised, it looks and feels amazing. The use of clean and simple ingredients ensures my skin is getting a good dosage of just the good stuff, with no nasty fillers.

Moreover, they harness the power of ingredients like Prickly Pear and Squalane and sell their products at affordable prices in eco-friendly packaging. So you really can’t go wrong!

If you like what you see I urge you to go support this incredible small business!
