I don’t cover my website with adverts because I want you to enjoy your time here! However, this post may contain links to products and services I genuinely like. If you make a purchase through these links I may earn a small commission (at no cost to you) which keeps this website alive, and me fed!

Search for a NordVPN coupon code, and you’ll turn up dozens of sites promising insane deals, half of them with codes that expired months ago.

Clicking on all these links will likely leave you with a million tabs open in your browser.

I use NordVPN on my travels, and am always snagging a great deal on my subscription. And I don’t do this through dodgy coupon sites!

NordVPN runs its own deals, and I’ll show you where to find the current one, along with a few other ways to bring the price down.

The short answer

You don’t need to go hunting or enter a code. NordVPN’s biggest saving is on its 2-year plan, which works out at £2.89 a month, down from £9.29.

The discount applies automatically when you click through my link, and every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

How to get NordVPN cheaper

You can save a lot using NordVPN’s own deals. The lowest plan prices are always on its pricing page, and the discount is applied at checkout when you use the deal link, so there’s no code to enter.

Its coupon page is worth a look, too, listing special monthly offers that automatically apply when you click through.

A few other ways to save on NordVPN:

  • Students and apprentices aged 18 to 26 can get an extra student discount.
  • Refer a friend, and you’ll get a free month of NordVPN.
  • NordVPN runs seasonal deals and freebies throughout the year, with the biggest savings around Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Applying a NordVPN coupon code

Most of the time, the deal in the link will automatically add the coupon to your order, so you won’t need to enter anything.

But if you’re manually entering a code from NordVPN’s coupon page or a seasonal promo, here’s where it goes:

  1. Pick your plan on the NordVPN pricing page.
  2. On the checkout page, scroll down to the “Got a coupon?” link under the total.
  3. Click it, paste the code, and hit apply.

The saving shows up in your total straight away.

Current NordVPN offers

Here’s how the plans currently cost, including their latest deals. Prices are in GBP and correct as of June 2026, and NordVPN changes its deals fairly often, so do check the live figures before you buy.

Every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can try it and claim a full refund within the month if it isn’t for you.

Plan Length Standard With deal Saving
2-year plan Best value 24 months £9.29/mo £2.89/mo 68%
20-month plan 20 months £9.29/mo £3.39/mo 63%
3-month plan 3 months £9.29/mo £5.89/mo 37%

Watch out for fake coupon sites

A quick warning. Plenty of sites rank for NordVPN codes by listing ones that don’t work, or “codes” that are really just the standard deal link dressed up as something exclusive.

You click, nothing applies, and you’ve lost ten minutes and opened a million tabs.

I recommend sticking to NordVPN’s official deal and coupon pages, where the discount applies for you. That way you know it’s actually live.

Working in a coffee shop in Mexico City whilst using the best VPN for travel

Why use a VPN when you travel?

A VPN does two main jobs that matter when you’re away from home. It encrypts your connection, so on the public wifi you get in hotels and cafés, nobody else on the network can see what you’re up to.

It also lets you connect through a server back home, which helps when a streaming service or banking site won’t load properly from abroad.

I lean on mine most for working from cafés and sorting online banking and invoices from hotel rooms.

It’s also how I keep up with UK streaming while I’m away, which doesn’t always play nicely abroad. If getting around regional blocks is your main reason for wanting one, I’ve gone into more detail in my guide on how to unblock websites from home.

Is NordVPN worth it? My take

I’ve used NordVPN for a while now, but I started taking it far more seriously after a data leak a while back. Now I won’t do anything private on public wifi without a VPN running, whether I’m at home or abroad.

Is it worth paying for? For me, yes. After that, the peace of mind alone is worth it, and NordVPN handles the everyday admin I’d never risk on an open network. For the full breakdown, including speeds and the bits I’d change, see my NordVPN review.

NordVPN discount FAQs

Does NordVPN have a coupon code?

Yes. NordVPN runs coupon codes alongside its built-in plan deals, and it lists current ones on its official coupon page. The discount is also applied automatically when you click through a deal link, so you often won’t need a code at all.

How do I apply a NordVPN coupon code?

Choose your plan, then on the checkout page click the “Got coupon?” link, paste your code, and apply it. The discount is added to your total before you pay.

Why isn’t my NordVPN coupon code working?

The most common reason is that the code has expired or been entered incorrectly. Double-check it, and if it still won’t apply, use the deal link instead or get in touch with NordVPN’s support.

Is there a NordVPN student discount?

Yes. NordVPN offers a discount for students and apprentices aged 18 to 26 through a verification service. These offers can change, so it’s worth checking the current deal before you sign up.
